This authentic antique coin was struck at the Mexico City mint and bears the assayer mark "M". The obverse features the Crowned Pillars of Hercules with the globe and motto "VTRAQUE VNUM", ("BOTH ARE ONE"), symbolizing the union of the Old and New Worlds. The reverse displays the crowned Hapsburg shield with the inscription "PHILIP V D G HISPAN ET IND R".
