we often see the well-known blue round clocks of the ns, but you rarely come across this much larger square version of telenorma. What a device! the box with the arrival/departure times used to be on the side of the clock.

this clock (slave clock/pulse clock) normally only works with a master clock (the pulse generator), we have equipped this clock with a pulse generator on batteries and so the original clockworks have been retained. This 24v pulse generator is mounted on a cable outside the clock and can also be used to adjust the time. So when the clock is hung a bit higher, it can still be operated from the ground.

in addition, the double-sided clock has lighting (new fluorescent tubes), which can be switched on or off with the switch on the outside.
of the two power cables that come out of the clock on the side, one cable is from the 24v pulse generator, the other from the lighting (separately switched) and from the beautiful red second hand. To make the second hand run, it always needs 220v, but without the power to the second hand the clock also works and the second hand will be on the '12'. So if you don't have 220v nearby, the clock can still do its job (without lighting and running second hand).
