Offered is a chunky, heavy faceted art glass Sommerso bud vase in the style of the ones designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d’Arte in the early 1960s. It features layers of blue and green Sommerso (means sunken in English) style. These Sommerso pieces are intended to play on both the combinations of different colors and their subsequent blends, and they came to life differently depending on the angle of light and observation.
The bud vase measures: 3.75" x 3.75" x 4.625" (interior is 3.625" deep), flat round base is 2.5" in diameter.
