This lead crystal bowl has decoration with cut olive green to clear cameo patterns. The rim has a scalloped half thumbprint detail, the body is a gradient elongated diamond detail, and the base is a clear sunburst. This was purchased in the mid 1990s in Buenos Aires, Argentina's San Telmo district in an antiques house that specialized in early 20th century Italian and French antiques. There is no marking, but we have seen similar detail in Waterford pieces and Val St. Lambert. The bowl is perfectly food safe, but deserves to be displayed where it catches light.

Measures 8" diameter, 4.25" base diameter, 4.5" tall
