This beauty’s design was inspired by like-minded pieces made by Gabriella Crespi, who had a way of creating innovative designs with humble natural materials that combined warmth and sophistication. The handcrafted repeating coiled pencil reed rattan design of the main body of the floor vase has a flared trumpet shape that sits on a ball base. Nicely-sized, this beauty measures 23½” x 15” x 15” H/W/D; weight 3 lbs. 8 oz. Handcrafted from pencil reed rattan in a coiled design; rich earthy hues of sienna, espresso, umber and hints of chestnut make up the palette of this beauty. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Though the makers label was removed long ago, this beauty was imported by Raymor from the Philippines sometime in the 1980s. I photographed the vase in the round to show all sides and nuances of the weave and coloring throughout. Note, faux grasses are not included.
