Etcher and painter Roselle Osk was born in New York City. A graduate of Hunter College, she studied at The Art Students' League from 1903-1906 and the National Academy in New York from 1912-1915. She began as a painter in 1920 and as an etcher in 1932. Her work was widely exhibited during her lifetime and is held by leading institutions including the Library of Congress, the New York Public Library, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Smithsonian Institution.
