This listing is for a spectacular example of Art Deco design.
This clock is by French sculptor, Jacques Limousin (active 1920s).
The clock has a nice portico style design with exposed pendulum.
The clock features statues of 2 seated flapper girls, posed in front of a geometric casing, holding up the clock in center.
Most unique is that the bases that the flapper girls sit on light up.
The casing is of high quality. The statues and clock casing are made of metal. They sit on a multi tone marble base.
The clock movement is an 8 day time/strike. The movement was last serviced in 2022. It ran when recently tested. The clock itself is mechanical (key wind).
The lamps turned on when recently tested. The lamps are electric.
20.5 x 8.5 x 14.75 inches
