The pieces feature amazing hand-painted, carved/raised … Read more Here is a gorgeous Chinoiserie black lacquered headboard and footboard from the mid-late 1800's. The pieces feature amazing hand-painted, carved/raised scenes accentued with beautiful gold paint. There are two pieces included and both have iron braces used for supporting rails. Unfortunately the rails are not included, but I think it would be easy to attach wood slats or you can remove the iron and use a metal mattress frame instead. Please note that the width of the headboard is 36.25" making it a bit smaller than a twin.
