We decided to separate the … Read more This vintage 18k gold smiling baby face charm originally came from a set of cufflinks. We decided to separate the pair and make them individual charms. What we like about it is the level of detail in the face. The smiling baby is so well articulated that you can almost hear its laughter! The other cufflink in the set has the face of a crying baby, so however you identify—as a happy or sad baby—there is an option for you. You can also wear them paired together to show the dichotomy of emotion, like a unique version of the comedy-tragedy masks. The charm measures 1/2” x 3/8”, plus an additional 4 x 6 mm bail. It weighs 2.5 grams. Unmarked, but acid tests as 18k. The bail is 14k.
