Amazing 17th century Parisian grandfather clock. It is truly a work of art. Totally carved and complete, restored last year. The grandfather clock is constantly late, it must be said, by 2-3 minutes. It must obviously be wound by hand and is accompanied by a gentle carillon, not synchronized with the time, but always manually operated by pulling a cord (photo). I have also uploaded a photo of the two keys that are used to wind the clock and the carillon. Type of wood unidentifiable.
The pendulum is extremely delicate. The pendulum might need to be recalibrated after shipment.
