Cover … Read more This is a matted vintage Art Nouveau fashion print that was originally cover art for a 1904 French magazine. Cover art is highly collectible and desirable as a genre of art collecting. It has become increasingly more difficult to find in excellent condition with the passage of time as cover art is highly susceptible to rips, stains, and age discoloration with the passage of time. This image is in excellent condition with warm color tones and a beautiful ethereal quality. It features a young woman wrapped in lush layers of sheer volumes of orange tone fabrics. The illustration is signed in lower left. Le Figaro Mode was a French periodical that featured reviews and articles relating to theater and cultural events of the decortive arts period. Note the beautiful Art Nouveu border which adds a wonderful design element to the image. 10 x 13 inches in size. Comes matted in a 16 x 20 neutral tone custom mat ready for a standard size frame.
