A beautiful American empire Boston Girandole chairs. This is a very rare chair in today's market. Was handcrafted out of top grain flame mahogany in mid 1800s. This grandiose chairs evolved from French Empire designs and were made only in the Northeastern of the USA. Drop-in seat makes reupholstering very easy when needed. Webbed seat supports in good condition.
This chair is in good antique condition with some scratches and minor veneer losses, just appropriate with age and use.
The chair measures 19"W x 20"D x 34"H. Seat height is 18" and the seat cushion is 17"W x 15.5"D.
