This is a vintage ceramic bamboo-form vase, dating from 1992 according to the handwritten signature on the underside. The tall baluster-shaped body is beautifully modeled with raised bamboo stalks and nodes, accented by a twisted-rope band around the center. A warm, softly mottled buttery yellow glaze enhances the dimensional texture and gives it a wonderfully organic, tropical feel.
A charming decorative piece with a Palm Beach, coastal, or Hollywood Regency-inspired aesthetic, lovely displayed alone or filled with greenery or flowers. The underside appears artist-signed and dated 1992, adding to its character and provenance.
