Set of 6, rare, glazed ceramic plates with a relief zebra design. Signed and numbered. Made in Italy for Bonwit Teller. Circa 1970. Original tags on back. Photos show imperfections on the various plates. Some discoloring and yellowing has occurred over time. Some black lines are out of place.
Bonwit Teller & Co. was a luxury department store in New York City founded by Paul Bonwit in 1895 and later a chain of department stores. In 1980, Trump demolished the historical, elegant Art Deco emporium to make way for his $100 million Trump Tower.
