Seat is supported by an enameled metal frame with a cross-base adorned with brass orb brackets in the back and four brass feet.
Cohesive design with sharp, fluent lines that correspond well between the shell and base. For example, the back legs splay to mirror the sweeping, deeply extended back of the chair.
Very rare design, potentially a prototype, as there are attributes of the several of Bozzi's documented designs without all the features together in one design (the round back, winged arm, and gap to the seat together are not present in any other specific chair design).
Very good vintage condition - black enameled metal frame and unpolished brass feet are presented in original condition, showing only light wear to the metal and tarnish/patina to the brass. The gray chenille velvet upholstery and foam have been newly replaced.
Decal manufacturer's label to underside ‘Fratelli Saporiti Besnate (Italia)' along with a partial 'Made in Italia' label.
