You can … Read more Here is a fantastic chair designed by Folke Palsson and made by FDB Mobler in the early 1960's. You can see that this is one of the original chairs, as it has the FDB Made in Denmark stamped into the bottom of the seat. There are current versions of the chair still being produced and sold through Design Within Reach, but this is a true vintage gem! The chair was designed to be a modern take on a Windsor chair. It appears simple, but you can see that there are design elements that make it special - note the lovely curve in the top backrest, the splayed angle of the back legs and the subtle curve of the seat, as just to name a few. This chair was originally painted black. There are notable signs of age/wear to the paint. I was going to have it repainted, but honestly this chair would look great in any color! I will let you decide where to take it. The legs unscrew so it's an easy one to ship, too. Highly collectable, timeless design. See less
