A pair of stunning 19th century Meissen porcelain cabinet plates, having high-relief embossed motifs of fruits and foliate designs that are richly gilded in high karat gold, creating a sharp contrast against the deep cobalt blue glaze within the cartouches.
Marked with the crossed sword mark of Meissen to underside of both plates. Circa 1840 - 1900.
