Offered is a sculptural hand forged stainless steel vessel/countertop sink with Rhodium plating. It was originally designed for a boutique luxury hotel to be used in their public spaces, but they decided to use them as lighting fixtures in their restaurant, which is obviously an option with the proper hardware as it is quite heavy. This is a broad cone/dome shaped bowl with a subtle wavy/curved surface which catches light beautifully. The stainless steel was a broad industrial disc, approximately 25mm thick, which was hand forged into its cone shape and then custom finished with the drain opening. Rhodium is the metal that is plated to gold to create white gold. It radiates with a bright white sparkle and renders the steel very scratch resistant. We will be loading many of our pieces from this collection and welcome custom inquiries.
