mid 19th century swedish decorative column long case clock circa 1837.
beautiful long case clock from sweden. made with a decorative fluted column which forms a demi lune shape. clock face with arabic numerals and signed by maker from the jonkoping region.
later paint which has now taken on a weathered appearance. complete with weights,pendulum and winding handle.
movement has been professionally serviced, with a full breakdown of the overhaul provided, it keeps very good time.
minor age splits to woodwork, structurally sound and ready for everyday use.
