Beautiful monumental antique bookcase with lovely details. This antique oak bookcase cabinet has a beautiful design and impressive details.

Monumental Antique Bookcase
This turn of the century monumental antique bookcase has an incredible design. The bookcase stretches to 83″ across, and consists of a base cabinet with two drawers, a center cabinet, and a top crown. Additionally, the doors can be removed for transport and to lighten the piece.

The bookcase has a canted front, which gives the piece more forward dimension. Inside, it has thick adjustable shelves, held in place with side slats.

The bookcase doors are quite elegant, with large fluted columns on either end. Also, the doors feature beveled glass panels. In the center of each door is a carved decorative panel. These lovely floral designs with scroll work give the bookcase a feminine touch.

Oak Bookcase Cabinet
We refinished this oak bookcase cabinet in order to restore the lovely details and finish. The solid oak bookcase has a rich dark finish, which would be beautiful in any historic or traditional home. While we believe the hardware on the bookcase doors to be original, the handles on the drawers do not appear to be the original pieces. See less
