Antique Austrian Silver Tray – Circa 1901–1921 – 800 Silver – Ornate Repoussé & Pierced Floral Design
A beautifully crafted Continental silver tray featuring a charming pastoral scene of cherubs (putti) at play. This repousséd oval scene is framed by a wonderfully ornate pierced openwork border adorned with ribbons, flowers, and scrollwork.
Expertly formed into a subtle shallow bowl shape, this tray was made in Austria during the early 20th century and bears the hallmark used between 1901 and 1921, alongside a “800” silver purity mark and crown.
