Wonderful example of Victorian era earthenware ceramic Mantel or Fireplace Dog. Made in Staffordshire, England
These figurines were mostly Spaniel breed, because Queen Victoria favored the dog breed. Each figurine is handprinted in either white and brown or white and black accents. .
