Its laborious creation starts with a single-coloured glass base, with subsequent layers of overlaid glass hand-carved to reveal the contrasting hues beneath. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1662-1722), snuff bottles such as this were commonly used to inhale powdered tobacco. Dimensions: 2" L x 2.25" W x 3.25" H. See less
