So much details in their feathers, in the bark of the tree, and in the tree branches. Scenes of cranes repeat around the exterior of the bowl as well. We don’t often see Asian bowls in this black color, and we love it for its uniqueness

Cranes have long been a traditional symbol of longevity

12 inches in diameter by 5.75 inches deep

Very nice condition, there are no chips, and no cracks. There are a few spots that have a little bit of loss of paint, around the rim. There are a few little dots of loss along the Gold that is at the very edge of the rim. We found a few scratches to the black paint on the exterior, very minor. There are some imperfections in the hand painting of this bowl that may includeuneven painting, or over painting. See less
