The exterior of the bowl is just as amazing with its detailed and vibrant birds, peonies, cherry blossomed and another blue and gold pattern on either side of the bowl.

Beautiful Vintage Imari Style Hand-Painted Porcelain Bowl

Stunning mid-to-late 20th-century porcelain centerpiece bowl, heavily decorated in the traditional Japanese Imari palette with vibrant Chinese export-style enamel detailing.

Interior: Features an exquisite, hand-painted central vignette of a pink-breasted birds perched among blooming peonies and plum blossoms.

The upper rim is framed by a rich iron-red border with brilliant gold scrollwork, topped with a distinctive green fish-scale pattern edge.

Decorated with deep cobalt blue diaper patterns, ornate gold scrollwork, and contrasting hand-painted panels featuring floral and bird motifs.

The base of the bowl has a square red seal maker's mark stamped on the bottom.

It is certainly an accent piece to complement any room!

A large bowl as well, measuring 10” in diameter and 5” tall.
