Description : Set of 6 Collector's Dessert Plates, Bleu Mourant Each Plate Has A Different Flower
Pattern : Bleu Mourant
Form : Neuzieratt Size : 8 in./19.5 cm.
The decoration Bleu Mourant, the dying blue, originated in1784. Frederick the Great,was excessively partial to this matt, light-blue tone, which predominated inhis private rooms at the Potsdam town palace. He decreed in 1870 that the Professor of Chemistry Archard has created divers samples and challenged KPM to prove it.
