This stunning console table has more character than you could ever want or imagine! It is a statement piece and not your typical wood or waterfall console table. It was made exclusively for Bernhardt Furniture in the Philippines sometime in the late 20th-century. The rattan wrapped iron faux bois base with graceful curved gallery shelf evokes tree branches, while the exotic mango wood demilune-shaped top, with its rattan rope wrapped apron, was finished with a textured tabletop surface that mimics a leather wrapped surface, exquisite! It’s beautifully and uniquely sized demilune profile has an organic Regency look-and-feel that will complement most any design style and architectural esthetic. The lower gallery see-through twig shelf is perfect for displaying sculptural artwork or plants or absolutely nothing! This beauty measures 56” x 20” x 31½” W/D/H; gallery shelf 49” x 17½” W/D; clearance from the apron bottom to gallery shelf 22”; weight approximately 50 to 60 lbs. Handcrafted from worked iron and richly grained mango wood; rattan rope accents; textured mango wood tabletop finish mimicking an aged leather wrapped surface. Colors are earthy browns, rich umber and wenge hues; bronzed ironwork; bobbin-style feet are wrapped in rattan rope. In excellent pristine, like new condition. Structurally solid and sound welds.
