T. Copeland & Sons in the Canton pattern, also known as the Precious Treasures pattern. This rare bowl would make an excellent kitchen fruit bowl or catchall and a great addition to any antique china collector.

The Aesthetic motif at the center features a Japonesque scene consisting of a large urn holding peonies placed atop an elaborately carved wooden stand. The right side depicts a decorative object with a tassel which is suspended from an arched metal stand along with a piece of fruit in a dish. Both the stand and bowl are resting on a stone outcropping which meanders down to the lower face of the bowl, providing visual balance. The rim of the piece is finished with a repeating series of floral motifs. The rim is hand painted in a rich rust red color. Additional hand painted accents can be found in the central transferware design.
