The Base … Read more This is a Great Looking & Very Unusual Antique American Victorian Front Desk Bell. Circa Late 19th Century. The Base on the Bell is Heavy Solid Cast Bronze and Appears to have Been Nickel Plated When Made ?. Note also that The Underside of the Base has a 1856 Patent information in The Casting - See Last Photograph. The Bell is Solid Cast Brass and Also Appears to be Have Been Painted Silver Originally. There are Other Patent Dates Ranging from 1856 to 1874 on the Top Section - Post Between the Push Button and the Bell. The Ring Tone is Lovely And Quite Loud. It is in Very Good Working Condition. It is Untouched - Exactly as it has Survived Over the Years Cosmetic Condition. It Has Age and Use Related Wear - Tarnished Etc in Some Areas.

It Measures Overall Approx 4 inches Tall x 6 inches x 5 3/4 inches Wide.
