Crafted in Northern Italy in the mid-20th century, warm mixed woods the flanks feature desirable highly figured grain patterns, executed in elegantly sophisticated and stylish Louis XV taste, oval columnar form with curves on all sides, lending to the gracefully flowing lines, having an oval wooden top with molded edge, over unique open cubby niche vitrine shelf with open-air window cutouts on three sides outlined by undulating wooden accents, atop four small drawers, each with curved drawer-front embellished with carved foliate and shell motif, the carving continuing on the scalloped skirt, rising on gently curved cabriole legs.
