Circa … Read more This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Example of a Authentic Antique New England Wood Lobster Boat Trap Marker Buoy. Circa Approx 1930s. It is Completely Hand Made - Lathe Turned Out of Solid Indigenous Pine. I Acquired this piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Down East Coastal Maine Region. It is in All Original Condition and Still Retains It has Wonderful Rustic Salt Water Weathered Hand Painted Features. It has a Brass Attached Embossed "J.J B" Tag These Most Likely Being the Original Owner Initials. The Wood is Also Embossed With the Same Initials. As Displayed it would Make a Interesting and Unique Decorator Item in a Rustic Nautical Setting.
NOTE That it is Missing the Ballast Post ( Would Resemble a Short Broomstick ) .

It Measures Overall Approx 12 inches Tall x 6 1/2 inches Wide - Long.
