Very large, vintage Italian faenza platter in the style of Guido Gambone. The piece consists of a oval platter curved up at the edges with handles at each end. Fabricated in a light blue tinged white faenza pottery field, it is adorned with a greenish gold pinstripe, a pattern of flourishes around the rim, and a grapevine with a pair of grape leaves in the center. Marks en verso: AMM Made in Italy, 260 B7.
Excellent vintage condition, appears to be unused. No chips, no wear, no scratches.
