This large serving platter is vintage English Ridgways Staffordshire pottery at its best. This pattern, 'Blue Danish' is an homage to the iconic 'Danish' pattern originally made by Royal Copenhagen in the 19th century. This 16" platter is a newer iteration circa 1970s and is in fabulous condition. These large pieces are difficult to find, and work well with any of the Blue Danish "type" patterns such as Myott's 'Finlandia', Maruta's ' Blue Delfts', and of course the original by Royal Copenhagen.
This largest of serving platters is really a cornerstone of any collection, snag this one today!
Measurements: 16" Length x 12.5" Width.
Condition: Very good condition with light signs of use - utensil marks. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing present. There are some glaze pops on the underside of the platter, and you will notice there are areas of blue color bleed under the glazing.
