The glass top allows for an unobstructed view of the dynamic internal wood structure, all framed in a classic octagon shape. The table top has a crisscross support of wooden stretcher like arms that create a pie shape with four diamond dimensioned slices which is a visual bonus. This table also features a black wooden support skirt just under the lip of the tabletop making it unique among the other tables that are similar from the part of the 70s - 80s. with the splayed legs the cross beams and 2" skirt under the table top this is very sturdy and well constructed.
