This is a cast Brass Antique large Ink Well. It's market as a Jennings Brothers piece. The design is in … Read more This is a cast Brass Antique large Ink Well. It's market as a Jennings Brothers piece. The design is in the Trompe L'Oeil style of a Lion. The piece has a hinged lid and the hinge has pulled away from the well. It's in place and can be repaired by a tack weld. There are several drain holes in the bottom and its missing the original stoppers. These will need to be replaced if you plan to fill it with ink.
