Empire quartersawn tiger oak library table or writing desk on a scrolled double-pedestal base with a single center drawer.
Retaining the original casters and hardware. Most likely made in the United States sometime between 1840 - 1900, overlapping with the arts and crafts period and exemplifying the timeless quality and beauty of both aesthetic movements. The exact origin and date of production is unknown.
