Produced in Italy circa 1980 by Valentino, this octagonal wall clock features complex wood marquetry utilizing multi-toned veneers and non-traditional stains. The postmodern composition is defined by aggressive geometric patterns, including a central star motif characteristic of the Memphis Design movement. Tested and fully functional, battery operated sweeping second hand. Beautiful colors and form - minor wear commensurate with age - please see photos and video showing one touch up. Marked on the reverse. Display ready clock collection piece.
