P. Ipsen Enke started his noted pottery line in Denmark in 1909. . it was in operation until 1951. His creations featured realistic animals surrounding bowls and trays in unglazed ceramic terracotta..His mark was 666.
This bowl has been in my possession from 1979. It always had the mark inside the bowl.
The bear and seal are so realistic.
