This deep green and heavy vase has been carved with a design of a traditional Chinese style vase with flowers, ducks, koi fish and Lilly pads. The actual material which was used to create this work of art is unknown to me. It looks like some sort of glass, but way too heavy. Perhaps a kind of stone? Again, not sure. There appears to be some type of shiny coating over it to make it appear as Jade. If this was made of Jade, then I would not be selling my treasures on Chairish. In any case, this carved vase sitting on your bookshelf will look impressive and make a bold statement. It comes with the nicely carved rosewood stand.
