The classic Windsor style adorns this satin finished solid maple wood chair. Exuding Early American, Americana or Colonial style this chair was made by S. Bent & Brothers Inc.. It was a furniture company founded in 1867 by Samuel, Charles, and Roderic Bent in Gardner, Massachusetts. They closed in 2001. The company specialized in colonial chairs, rockers, children's chairs, and later, breakfast sets and institutional furniture.
Considering its vintage state the chair is in good condition. The seven back spindles are intact offering great back support and the chair is sturdy and level. A warm honey colored finish brings out the maple wood. This chair would make a great addition and accent piece for your room.
