Fabulous "Ninfea" folding chair designed by Gio Ponti for Fratelli Reguitti in Italy during the 1950s. In the super rare hand-woven wicker version, completely original and in fabulous condition. A masterpiece of postwar organic Italian design, it perfectly combines functionality, lightness, and formal elegance. The frame is made of dark-stained bentwood, while the seat and backrest were hand-woven in rattan wicker. The sculpted armrests and fluid curves recall the organic shape of a water lily—Ninfea in Italian. Fully foldable, it’s practical for storage or transport, while remaining a highly decorative and collectible piece. The piece is branded "Brevetti Reguitti – Made in Italy" on the structure. An iconic and rare piece of Italian mid-century design, ideal for collectors, design dealers, or refined interiors.
