Chrome, a black ABS plastic box and improbable smaragdin green storage, this retro desk is (d)astonishing! Airy thanks to a tubular base evoking Bauhaus design, its silhouette gains in lightness and dynamism. Its vast top with hidden boxes and integrated details is a call to creativity. Its drawers and box will allow the most studious to organize their storage. A contrast of colors, materials and eras, this vintage desk is an unclassifiable gem, which will inevitably awaken the artist in you!
The desk is old and dates from the 70s or 80s. The tray box is made of very thick and heavy molded plastic, black in color. The boxes are made of plywood, the buttons are original, in silver metal. Part of the top and the doors and facades are covered with vinyl imitating very bright green white lead. The vinyl is thick and a perfect trompe l'oeil. The desk has 2 drawers and a box closed by a door. The tray is large, it is in good condition. It opens onto a large storage space. At the rear is another, deeper storage box. There is also an integrated pencil holder on the top. The tubular base is in chrome steel, the lines are original. The desk is heavy, stable and in good condition. It has some discreet traces of use, particularly on the rear plate and traces of friction at the corner of the box. The back of the desk is beautifully made and allows central use in a room.
118cm in length, 64cm in depth and 72cm in height. 6cm drawer height, 23cm cabinet height, 6cm front shelf storage height, 30cm rear shelf storage height.
