This is a pair of Antique Green & Gold Porcelain serving dishes made likely by Chelsea Derby. There is no mark on each of the platters, only with a number “1500” written near the edge of the center area of the bottom, which should be the pattern number of the work. Each platter features a light green background, hand-painted pierced floral design, and beautiful gold accents. The design is typical of the Regency style, The dish is likely from the late 18th or early 19th century.
Each platter is 11.6” (W) x 9.1
“(D) x 2.0” (H) in size. They both are in their excellent estate conditions. All the guild decorations including those on the rims are almost perfectly preserved, only with a little rubbing to the tops of the handles.
