Each figure features a serene gilded face and stands atop a lotus-form pedestal inset with colored glass mosaic, hallmarks closely associated with Mandalay-school temple sculpture.

The set was acquired from an estate and is believed to have originally resided in a Buddhist temple or shrine setting. One figure retains a pronounced ushnisha (topknot), indicating hierarchical importance within the group. The figures were likely displayed together as part of a devotional arrangement before later being mounted on custom bases for preservation and display.

Surface wear, lacquer losses, wood splits, and variations consistent with age and devotional use are present and contribute to the authenticity and spiritual presence of the set. These figures exemplify the refined simplicity and meditative character for which Mandalay-style Buddhist sculpture is known.
