Each figure features a serene gilded face and stands atop an original lotus-form pedestal inset with colored glass mosaic, a technique closely associated with Burmese temple sculpture.

The set was acquired from an estate and is believed to have originally resided in a Buddhist temple or shrine setting. One figure retains a pronounced ushnisha (topknot), indicating hierarchical importance within the group. The figures were likely displayed together as part of a devotional arrangement before later being mounted on custom bases for preservation and display.

Rich surface wear, lacquer losses, wood splits at the bases, and visible hand craftsmanship are consistent with age and devotional use and contribute to the authenticity and character of the set.
