Victorian Lion Motif – Symbolism & Rarity
Furniture featuring carved lion heads was a hallmark of the Victorian and Renaissance Revival periods (circa 1870–1900), often symbolizing strength, nobility, and protection. Wealthy households and prestigious establishments favored such designs to showcase power and opulence.

True Collector’s Piece: While claw feet are more common in antique tables, detailed lion head carvings are much rarer, making this table an exceptional find.
Intricate Hand-Carved Craftsmanship: The majestic lion heads above each leg feature finely detailed manes and expressive faces, reflecting the high level of artistry typical of the period.
Key Features:
Premium Tiger Oak Wood – Beautiful quarter-sawn grain, showcasing the distinctive "tiger oak" pattern.
Exquisite Hand-Carved Details – Four majestic lion heads adorn the pedestal, each finely carved with incredible depth and craftsmanship. The intricately carved claw feet add to the table’s grandeur.
Solid Split Pedestal Base – Designed for durability and stability.
