Offering One of Our Recent Palm Beach Estate Fine Furniture Acquisitions Of A
Pair of Antique circa 1850 Northern Chinese Ju Mu "Hat" or "Buffalo Horn" Armchairs with Letter of Antiquity
Fine pair of high-back armchairs with original dark brown lacquered finish and hard wicker seats. Top back rail is Buffalo Horn shape with "S" shaped back splat, and aprons below seats with a center floral carving and carved line of beading. Side and back leg stretchers and a footrest add to the well-designed structural support.
