A historical rarity. A pre-1800 thin-walled porcelain bowl of medium size. Hand painted in famille rose motif with floral garlands and medallions.
Measures 9" in diameter and 4 1/4" in depth
Condition: Remarkable antique condition with no chips, cracks or frits. A slight blue-gray tint to the ground glaze indicative for the period as are the occasional instances of kiln grit which is typical of pre-1800 manufacturing efforts.
