LARGE SIZE Measuring Approx 15 Inches Long. This is a Table Top Style - Mechanical Type Nut Cracker - Made to be Shared. It is Rendered in Charmingly Stylized Figurative Crocodile Design. It is Completely Hand Made - Hand Cast. It has No Maker Marks. The Tail Raises and Lowers to Operate the Nut Cracker Function of the Crocodiles Mouth. Two Piece Solid Cast Bronze Construction - It is QUITE HEAVY - Weighing Well Over 3 1/2 Pounds. It is in Very Nice Cosmetic and Functional Condition. It is All Original with that Wonderful Honest Age and Use Acquired Patina Giving it that Old Look that Cannot be Duplicated. Also NOTE The Verdigris on the Underside & Feet. On the Other Hand I am Quite Sure that it Would Also Polish Up Beautifully if Desired. No Damage - No Repairs.
