This large - actually huge - hand-thrown ceramic bowl is a truly unusual work of art, very much in the style of noomi backhausen, i dare say with a pinch of pablo picasso too!
beautifully decorative and impressive, the head of medusa in a classic mid-century color scheme of beige, blue and dark caramel brown, i place it in the late 1960s to early 1970s in the netherlands.
