It is a gorgeous circa 1920’s - Victorian Era ladies vanity, or dressing station. You don't find many of these anymore and they definitely don't make them like this anymore!

This pretty treasure dates to the Victorian era of aprox 1900-1920's. It has detailed ornate carvings throughout with a very unique design. A large turn key mirror allowing adjusting and a center cabinet that lifts up which likely stored jewery or items of sentiment. The wooden swag that displays on the uplift is original to the vanity. Two deep drawers on either side that can hold make up, lingerie or whatever one chooses to store.

This beautiful past time can be used in almost any setting. It has all of the original hardware and was painted a few years ago with the perfect off white. The inside of the drawers were left natural-the piece is a very solid piece to last many lifetimes.

This beautiful vanity can pair with any stool or chair or left as is in almost any room. It offers any living space a romantic / shabby Victorian vibe.

It is in lovely vintage condition but is aprox 100 years old and will show some sign of that somewhere. There may be some staining inside the drawers. There may be some chipping- fading uneven tones etc. The drawers do not slide in and out with ease like those of their modern counterparts on wheels. One should expect an antique that is "perfectly imperfect"

The photos do not do this piece justice. The refinishing is so beautiful. It has hand carved scrolls throughout the entire piece (look at the photos closely)

It measures aprox 66 1/4" in total height including mirror and 32 1/2” tall to the top of the vanity total width is aprox 50 1/4" total depth aprox 18 1/4" (back supports add another 1" in depth) See less
